How long does a valet take?
Here are average times:
Exterior Valet: 45–60 minutes
Interior Valet: 2.5 hours
Full Valet Package: 4 hours

Do you clean vans and larger vehicles?
Yes — we valet all vehicle types including cars, vans, SUVs, motorhomes, caravans, and trailers. Each package is tailored to your vehicle’s size and needs.
How far in advance should I book a valet?
We recommend booking at least a few days in advance, especially during peak times. We’ll always try to accommodate last-minute requests where possible.

Do you require a deposit to book?
We may request a small deposit to secure your slot. This helps avoid no-shows and keeps our schedule running smoothly. We’ll confirm everything once your booking request is received.

Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
Absolutely. Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or rearrange your appointment. If you’ve paid a deposit and wish to cancel, we’ll issue a full refund upto 24 hours before your appointment. If you wish to cancel within less than 24 hours before of your appointment, then unfortunately it is non-refundable.
What happens if it rains on the day of my booking?
If heavy rain is forecast, we’ll contact you in advance to discuss your options. We can either:
Rearrange your appointment, or
Work under cover if you have a garage or carport – We also have a large gazebo
We always aim to be flexible and fair.
Do you offer mobile valeting at workplaces or public locations?
Yes, we’re happy to come to your home, workplace, or a suitable public location-as long as there’s access to water plus adequate space for our setup. We do have our own electricity supply, but if we are able to have access to yours then we would prefer it – but it’s not essential.
What do I need to provide on the day?
We only need access to a water tap. For power, we can bring our own supply — no need to use yours unless you prefer.
Can you remove pet hair and stubborn stains?
Yes. Our deep interior cleaning service includes thorough removal of pet hair and stains. Excessively soiled interiors may incur an additional charge, which we’ll confirm beforehand.
Do I need to be present during the valet?
No, as long as we have access to the vehicle and any required instructions, you don’t need to be present. We’ll update you once the job is complete.
Are your products safe for all vehicle types and finishes?
Yes, we use premium, pH-neutral and vehicle-safe products suitable for all paintwork, interior surfaces, and finishes.
Do I need to send pictures of my vehicle before the appointment?
Ideally, yes. Photos help us assess the condition of your vehicle in advance and provide a more accurate quote. You can send them via WhatsApp, info@shineworx.co.uk or on our contact form.
Do you document the condition of my vehicle before starting?
Yes. We take photos of both the interior and exterior, documenting any pre-existing damage, which we’ll confirm with you before starting. If additional damage is revealed during cleaning, we’ll notify you immediately.
How long should I wait before driving after a valet?
You can drive immediately after a valet. If we’ve deep-cleaned your carpets or upholstery, we recommend allowing them a few hours to fully dry.
Do you offer regular maintenance packages?
We do. Our maintenance plans are designed to keep your vehicle looking its best throughout the year, with flexible intervals and service options to suit your lifestyle.
